Understanding curly maple timber
As are many other things in nature, there is not only a single type of a curly maple design. Different looking stripes can be achieved not only with different wood cutting methods but also because of the internal characteristics of the wood itself.
Our pieces are produced through a complex process of cutting maple logs. The resulting pieces of timber are prepared for the production of musical instruments, such as violins, cellos and double bass.
